EuSocialCit Winter School Social Europe after the Pandemic: Rights and Policies.

Between 18 and 21 of October 2022, University of Milan organized 1st EuSocialCit Winter School Social Europe after the Pandemic: Rights and Policies. More than 30 doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, with different disciplinary backgrounds (labour law, labour economics and social science), gathered to discuss the most topical issues related to the process of EU social integration. Key experts in the domain of European social and employment policies, European labour law and European economic governance offered an up-to-date account of the latest developments of the EU social policies from a social rights’ perspective. 20 speakers, including university professors, high-level EU officials, and think tank researchers took the floor during the school when participating in eight panel sections and three book presentations. The doctoral and post-doctoral researchers had the opportunity to actively engage in the debate with the speakers but also to present the results of their own research and receive detailed feedback and comments from discussants.
